Community EventNationale Natuurwerkdagen 2026
The biggest volunteer nature-management event in the Netherlands. On hundreds of locations across the country, volunteers help manage heathland, woodland, hedgerows and wetlands together with land managers and landscape organisations. A great way for hunters and nature lovers to contribute to habitat management. Organised by LandschappenNL and the provincial landscape organisations. FestivalHubertusmarkt Gulpen 2026
One of the oldest markets in the Netherlands: the first Hubertusmarkt in Gulpen was held in 1544, making 2026 the 482nd edition. Around 150 market stalls with regional products and crafts, children's activities, a 10:00 mass and the traditional blessing of horses at 11:20. Hunting horn ensembles traditionally play at the market. Time: 10:00–17:00. Venue: town centre of Gulpen (South Limburg).
FestivalHubertusviering Oirschot 2026
The 15th annual open-air Saint Hubert celebration, organised by WBE Moergestel (local wildlife management unit) at the Chapel of the Holy Oak. Service with music by the Kempische Jachthoornblazers, blessing of dogs and horses, distribution of Hubertus bread and a get-together with free refreshments afterwards. Everyone is welcome, on foot, by bike, by car or on horseback. Time: 13:00. Venue: Kapel van de Heilige Eik, Proosbroekweg 11, Oirschot.
FestivalHubertusmesse & Jägerschlag Geisenheim 2026
Saint Hubert celebration of the Jagdverein Rheingau at the "Rheingauer Dom" in Geisenheim. From 15:30 gathering on the cathedral square with mulled wine, bratwurst and cake; 17:00 the traditional Jägerschlag, in which young hunters are formally welcomed into the hunting community; 18:00 Hubertusmesse in the church with hunting horn players. Open to everyone, not only hunters. Free admission (donations welcome). Venue: Pfarrkirche Heilig Kreuz, Bischof-Blum-Platz 1, Geisenheim.
Community EventHunting Horn Demonstration – De Overlopers
Traditional hunting horn signals and music performed by the hunting horn ensemble De Overlopers in De Hoge Veluwe National Park. An accessible way to experience a centuries-old hunting tradition. Time: 13:00–15:00 (check the official agenda for the exact meeting point).
FairKerst & Wild Fair 2026
A winter fair in the historic setting of Kasteel Doorwerth, combining Christmas and game. Special exhibitors, artisan products, regional dishes, Christmas gifts, music and winter atmosphere, with bread from a wood-fired oven and mulled wine. Part of the proceeds supports charity. CompetitionCrufts 2027 – Gundog Day
The world's largest dog show at the NEC Birmingham, 4–7 March 2027. Day 1 (Thursday 4 March) is Gundog Day, with the gundog breeds (retrievers, spaniels, pointers, setters and HPR breeds) competing for Best of Breed and the Gundog Group. A must for anyone interested in hunting dogs.

Trade ShowJagen Fischen Offroad 2027
The 24th edition of this Hessian fair for hunting, fishing and off-road, with more than 100 exhibitors and a full supporting programme. Previous editions included falconry demonstrations, hunting dog breed presentations and regional brass bands. Open daily 09:30–17:00. Admission €12 (children under 12 free). Venue: Hessenhalle Alsfeld.

Fair for leisure in nature in Erfurt: riding, hunting, fishing and forestry (the 6th FORST³ runs alongside). Germany's largest annual demonstration fair for forestry technology, renewable energy and hunting, in Offenburg on the edge of the Black Forest. More than 360 exhibitors from 16 countries on over 46,000 m² of outdoor space: forestry machinery in action, timber processing, hunting equipment, plus a forestry congress and excursions. Venue: Messe Offenburg.
FairNorthern Country Sports Show 2027
A show for hunters, game and target shooters and anglers at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. Trade stands from guns, optics and country clothing to fishing tackle, with demonstrations and have-a-go activities. Early-bird tickets from £10 for a day, £15 for both days; children free; on-site camping available. Venue: Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate HG2 8NZ (free parking).
FairGWCT Scottish Game Fair 2027
"Three Braw Days" celebrating Scotland's countryside heritage in the grounds of Scone Palace near Perth, organised by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust. Arena shows, gundog competitions (including the Four Nations Gundog Competition), falconry, fishing demonstrations, native breeds parade, shopping and food.

The UK's best-known festival of the countryside, returning to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for its 69th year. Shooting, gundogs, falconry, fishing, hundreds of exhibitors from guns and optics to clothing and food, and a full arena programme.
FairGalloway Country Fair 2027
One of Scotland's premier country and sporting events, in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries and Galloway. Have-a-go clay shooting and fishing with competitions open to all, gundog displays and scurries, the Buccleuch Dog Show, main ring entertainment, a crafts and food marquee and countryside shopping. Saturday 10:00–18:00 (evening entertainment), Sunday 10:00–17:00.
FairChatsworth Country Fair 2027
One of the UK's major country fairs, in the park of Chatsworth House in the Peak District. Grand ring displays, gundog and falconry demonstrations, country sports, hundreds of trade stands and food.
